Bacharach, a leading manufacturer of refrigerant and gas leak detectors, monitoring instruments and data solutions, and combustion and emissions analysers, is pleased to announce the appointment of Glenn Smith as regional sales manager, Northeast US, covering all the New England states as well as New York, Virginia, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and eastern Pennsylvania.In joining Bacharach, Mr Smith brings a strong background of experience in regional sales development in instrumentation, systems and services. From 2001 through to 2015, he was eastern regional sales manager at TSI, holding responsibility for all sales and channel activities for handheld instrumentation for HVAC testing and combustion analysis, and for design and application of customer HVAC fixed systems for critical environment applications. In this position, he was responsible for end user development as well as the management and direction of wholesalers, representative organisations and OEM partners.

Most recently, Mr Smith was regional sales manager at Dadanco, where he was responsible for business development with Dadanco’s specialty HVAC products, focused on reducing building energy consumption. Glenn holds a BA in Business Management from Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania and resides in West Grove, Pennsylvania with his wife and family.
