Atosa makes UK refrigeration debut

UK: Chinese manufacturer Yindu has set up a subsidiary in the UK to market its Atosa brand of commercial refrigeration and kitchen equipment.
Atosa makes UK refrigeration debut
Situated on the Brackmills Industrial Estate in Northampton, Atosa Catering Equipment UK offers a range of commercial refrigerators, ice makers and display equipment. The units employ a number of well-known European components including Aspera compressors, EBM fan motors and Carel controllers.

Northern sales manager Paul Kerr told ACR News that the company offers a full range of entry- and mid-range refrigeration, which it intends to sell through a network of 20-30 dealers that it is currently setting up.

Atosa's UK expansion is said to be part of a wider global investment being made by parent Yindu. It is understood that an extra 30% of factory space will be developed this year to support its 100,000m2 in Shanghai.

Its present capacity is 300,000 commercial refrigeration units, 100,000 ice machines, 100,000 display refrigeration units and 3,000,000 chaffing dishes annually.
