Association formed for air conditioning energy assessors

UK: A new association has been formed to represent assessors carrying out TM44 air conditioning inspections in the UK.
Association formed for air conditioning energy assessors
The National Association of Air Conditioning Energy Assessors will bring together energy assessors from throughout the UK with the aim of raising the profile and awareness of the work being carried out by air conditioning energy assessors.

Neil Dady of Technical Business Solutions and one of the driving forces behind the new association said 'Whilst compliance with legislation has been a driving force in establishing a national network of accredited Air Conditioning Energy Assessors the National Association aims to promote the undoubted benefits achieved through energy assessments (carried out by professionally qualified individuals) rather than focussing completely on legislative compliance.'

'It is the intention of the National Association to liaise, over the coming months, with a range of interested parties including government, accreditation bodies, equipment manufacturers/distributors, installers, facilities management companies and consultants with a view to establishing a forum from which the National Association can feed back to all parties.'

A meeting of the National Association will be held on July 17 at 16.30 pm. The venue is:

Service-Tech Solutions
Shropshire Chamber of Commerce
Trevithick House
Stafford Park 4
Telford
Shropshire
TF3 3BA

The meeting will continue the work of the steering committee in establishing the protocols, aims and objectives of the Association.

If you are interested in becoming directly involved with the National Association or wish to attend the forthcoming meeting email neil.dady@naacea.org
