Wolfgang Zaremski will become president of ASERCOM on 01 March 2018.
Mr Zaremski will commence his new role from 01 March this year, succeeding Claude Blanc who stepped down from the position at the end of 2017.
Rainer Grosse-Kracht, ASERCOM's chairman, said: “In times of profound changes and unsurpassed challenges for the refrigeration industry, we are glad to have such an experienced person on board.
“Wolfgang Zaremski’s knowledge and experience gained in different leadership positions in the HVACR industry will help tremendously to bridge between trade and industry and further develop ASERCOM.”
Mr Zaremski has worked for several well-known component manufacturers, and has served as president of the VDKF, the association for German HVACR contractor enterprises, since 2012.
Mr Zaremski stated: “In addition to continued involvement in standardisation and the active participation in regulatory matters at EU level, an important target for ASERCOM will be the broadening and deepening of the cooperation between the diverse European and national crafts associations.”
