The event will explore how standardisation, regulation, and innovation are reshaping the global refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump (RACHP) industry.
Marco Masini, President of ASERCOM, said: “Europe continues to lead the conversation on refrigerants, sustainability and safety – but we also recognise that the RACHP world is changing fast, in the US, in China and far beyond. Our role is to keep that dialogue open, constructive and technically sound. The Convention will be the ideal platform for this exchange.”
The Convention will bring together leading voices from policymaking, research, and industry to examine how regional approaches are converging or diverging in the global cooling transition. Confirmed keynote speakers include:
- Arno Kaschl, DG CLIMA – European policy developments and the upcoming F-Gas revision
- Stephen Yurek, AHRI (USA) – North American perspectives on policy impacts and transatlantic alignment
- Prof. WANG Baolong, Tsinghua University (China) – China’s refrigerant substitution pathways and national initiatives
- Manon Roussel, EPEE – The PFAS debate and its implications for Europe’s regulatory framework.
Alongside keynote sessions, ASERCOM will showcase its technical work on refrigerants, cybersecurity, PFAS policy, European regulation, and global standardisation. Each ASERCOM Working Group will present insights and initiatives contributing to a coherent European position in a rapidly evolving international context.
Masini added: “The Convention is more than an annual meeting. It’s where Europe’s technological expertise meets global momentum – a place to discuss, challenge and build the next chapter of our industry together.”
Registration is now open.
