Arctic Circle gets a Royal visit

Arctic Circle welcomed HRH The Duke of Kent KG to its site in Rotherwas on 1 October as part of a day spent in Hereford.

Arctic Circle welcomed HRH The Duke of Kent KG to its site in Rotherwas on 1 October as part of a day spent in Hereford.

The Duke toured the manufacturing facility and spoke with staff as they worked. Arctic Circle, which celebrates its thirtieth anniverary next month, is well known within the refrigeration industry as an innovative company that invests in apprenticeships and training.

Managing director Debbie Gittoes said: “The visit was welcomed by us all. HRH was keen to see our manufacturing operation and was very surprised by the size of the equipment being produced – all by hand!” 

At the culmination of the visit staff gathered to watch as HRH unveiled a plaque to commemorate the occasion.
