DAVID Payne, head of building services and construction materials at the DTI, was presented with the Alan Moor Award for his services to the hvacr industry during the recent ACR News awards evening.
David, who retires at the end of March, had become a
real friend to this industry over the last 15 years. During his time he advised and helped a diverse cross-section of companies and associations. He was also responsible for finding the funds to assist the sector in a number of areas, including securing the necessary funds to set-up the Heat Pump Network and to initiate the HEVACR 2005 project.
