AirSource recruits two new apprentices

AirSource, the rapidly expanding ventilation specialist has appointed two new apprentices.

Based in Eccles, the company has recruited 20-year-old Callum Howells and 19-year-old Jamie Mason. They will divide their time between working for AirSource and studying for their next level of qualifications.

Callum, a former pupil of Burle Hill High School in Salford, is a qualified refrigeration engineer working towards City and Guilds Level 3 NVQ in Refrigeration.

Jamie, who attended Irlam & Cadishead High School and Salford City College, is working towards a Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Engineering and later his F-Gas certification.

Managing director of AirSource, David Clayton, said: 'Apprenticeships are a fantastic asset to this country. It's an ideal way to blood the next generation of skilled engineers while giving companies like ours the chance to benefit from young people's energy and drive.
