Airedale gets £11,500 to train future leaders

AIR CONDITIONING manufacturer Airedale International has been given a £11,500 training boost to develop its future leaders.
Having been awarded the funding from Train To Gain, Airedale has set up management leadership classes for its staff.

The classes are being led by management training experts Dale Carnegie Training.

Last year, 41 employees celebrated 815 years of combined service, but the next few years will see the retirement of many long-serving employees.

'A number of staff from all areas are due to retire within five to ten years' said Steve Joyce, human resources director.

He added: 'In order to fill the gap key individuals need exposure to management training to ensure they are ready to step into bigger roles, including managing people and projects that will enable the business to continue to grow and develop.'
