Airedale appoints product development director

Global air conditioning manufacturer Airedale has appointed George Hannah as product development director, leading Airedale's expanding programme of new product development. His appointment follows the retirement of Airedale director of engineering Bill Coates last year.

Former development manager, Mr Hannah joined the company as a graduate engineer 10 years ago, and will play a key role in applying new generation technology. He heads a product development team of 23, including sponsored PhD students and graduate apprentices.
