OVER 300 people from all sectors of the air conditioning and refrigeration industry saw Airedale International's Turbochill Freecool chiller crowned as air-conditioning product of the year in this year's ACR News Awards.
The event at the Chelsea FC ground in London also saw Gram Commercial taking the refrigeration product of the year for its 410 commercial refrigeration cabinet and further awards going to WR Refrigeration, Sanyo, Climate Center and Capital Cooling, to name but a few.
The Alan Moor Award for services to the air conditioning and refrigeration industry this year went to BOC's Barrry Lyons in recognition of a career spanning over 50 years.
With Capital Cooling taking the large contractor award, the audience saw Hampshire-based DCI Refrigeration & Electrical picking up the trophy for contractors with a turnover under £10m.
This year's awards were sponsored by Hawco, Mexichem, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Space Airconditioning
