AFTER months of negotiation, commercial refrigeration equipment distributor Caravell UK has finally completed the deal which sees it being acquired by leading Austrian manufacturer AHT.
The UK company will be integrated within the AHT group with all existing Caravell product lines being rebranded AHT.
The Caravell management team, led by John Lougher, will in future handle products such as bottle coolers, ice cream freezers, etc, as a separate AHT division from the existing AHT UK team, headed by Stephen Burke, which will look after the supermarket business. Hans Jensen, the chairman of Caravell UK will take up a new role in worldwide purchasing for the company.
Eventually, the two divisions will both operate from the Caravell building in Buckingham.
