adi Climate Systems appoints new Managing Director

Industrial HVAC specialist adi Climate Systems has appointed Mike Sweet as its new Managing Director as the business prepares for its next phase of growth.

Sweet joined the company as Commercial Director in September and has since helped refine its growth strategy, strengthen client engagement and support expansion into new markets. In his new role, he will lead long-term planning and strategic direction in line with the wider adi Group vision.

Outgoing Managing Director Mike Slattery will move into the role of Commercial Director, maintaining his involvement with key clients and early-stage commercial activity.

Paul Smith, CEO of adi Group, said Sweet had brought clarity and momentum to the business, highlighting opportunities to broaden work with existing customers, develop new sector relationships and increase the company’s strategic contribution across the Group. He added that Slattery’s continued involvement would ensure valuable continuity.

adi Climate Systems delivers engineered HVAC solutions, technical project delivery and after-sales support aimed at reducing energy use, cutting carbon emissions and improving operational resilience.

Sweet said he was proud to take on the leadership role at what he described as an important moment for the company, noting its strong reputation, skilled team and clear potential for accelerated growth. He said his priorities would include expanding market presence, deepening client partnerships and maintaining a focus on technically robust, energy-efficient HVAC solutions.
