Adcock thanks BOC for 2 million prize win

DEREK JAMES of Adcock Refrigeration is a cool two million richer - in Nectar points that is.
Adcock thanks BOC for 2 million prize win
He is the winner of a two million points prize draw and was entered through buying BOC gas, welding and safety products.

During July and August, eligible customers spending more than £75 on gas or £50 on equipment (gas equipment, welding products or safety gear) at BOC retail stores, or via BOC's customer service centre, were automatically entered into the prize draw.

Receiving the award on October 17 at BOC's Tradequip store in Ipswich, Derek said: 'I was surprised - and delighted - when I found out I'd won. The BOC store is local which is really helpful, and getting Nectar points as well is an added bonus.'

BOC, an industrial and speciality gases provider, supplies compressed and bulk gases, chemicals and equipment. Nectar Business was first introduced into BOC's retail stores in August 2007 and in the first year alone, more than 14,000 customers signed up.

David Bowlby, project specialist, BOC Strategic Marketing, said: 'This competition has really increased customer interest in both Nectar and our products. We believe that once they have experienced the product quality and level of service that BOC offers, they will want to stay - even after the prize draw has ended!'
