Adcock achieves accreditations

Adcock Refrigeration and Air Conditioning has been accredited with ISO 9001 certification from The British Assessment Bureau for installation, service and maintenance of refrigeration and climate control equipment.

The company has also recently gained OHSAS 18001 accreditation through the same Bureau — a process that took around four months to complete and required several successful audits in order to gain the qualification. OHSAS 18001 is designed to clarify an organisation’s impact on health and safety issues and show how it reduces the risk of accidents and any breach in legal requirements.

In addition, the company’s health and safety standards were recognised in February and March this year by MACE MEP when it received Health & Safety League winner certificates for its work on the Elm House project, as well as individual recognition for engineer Joe Sullivan, for continually demonstrating a high level of professionalism and adherence to health and safety standards.

Adcock has also been shortlisted for Family Business of the Year Award 2016 for the East & East Anglia region for its customer service levels. The winner will be announced in June at the May Fair Hotel in London.
