ACR Show retains Neil Everitt
Jan Thorpe said: 'Neil has huge experience of the industry, its companies and the issues driving change in the market. I am delighted that we have retained his unrivalled knowledge, which we will put to good effect in both the show and the magazine.'

Neil Everitt said: 'I am extremely pleased to be continuing my close involvement with the show and magazine. I am a strong believer that the industry needs a national showcase to promote itself and come together to network.

'The ACR Show 2014 provides a not to be missed opportunity for the trade and end users to see the latest technology and innovations, and catch up with important legal and commercial developments in the excellent seminar programme running alongside the show.'

The ACR Show takes place at the NEC, 11-13 February 2014. It is the only national exhibition dedicated to the air conditioning, refrigeration and heat pump industry.

The show has the backing of major industry organisations, including the Institute of Refrigeration (IOR), the British Refrigeration Association (BRA), the Federation of Environmental Trades Associations (FETA) and the Building and Engineering Services Association (B&ES).

Visitors have free access to the industry's leading experts in the show's high profile seminar programme.

The Institute of Refrigeration (IOR) is joining forces with the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Industry Board (ACRIB) to give an insight into the latest proposals to control the use of HFC refrigerants across the EU, and the implications for the industry.

Expert speakers from the Building and Engineering Services Association (B&ES) will give business briefings on important changes in legislation impacting the industry, including the latest air conditioning inspection requirements, opportunities for installers arising from The Green Deal, and clarifying the law around the phase-out of R22.

The latest developments in the application of high efficiency heat pumps will be presented by the Heat Pump Association (HPA), which will also give contractors advice on how to design and install systems to achieve greatest efficiency.

With six months to go to doors open, exhibitors are lining up to secure their spaces. Confirmed exhibitors include well-known companies AFR Refrigeration, A-Gas, Broughton, Charles Austen Pumps, Comptec, CPS Products, GEA Searle, Dean & Wood, Dupont, Harp International / Mexichem, Honeywell, Gram, JAVAC, Jumo, Lordan, Mastercool, Maxkold, Primalec, Teknic Refrigeration, and UR Refrigeration Wholesale.
