EARLY responses to the launch of the ACR News Awards 2009 suggest that next year's event will be the best ever.
The ACR News awards ceremony takes place at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham on February 25 2009 - the Wednesday evening of the RAC Show.

ACR News editor Neil Everitt said 'We have been surprised but extremely pleased at the number of companies from all sectors of the industry requesting entry forms for the 2009 awards.'.

Even with the high level of interest, Everitt acknowledges that there is a big difference between requesting a form and submitting an entry.

He said 'There are also some categories which have so far failed to attract the usual level of interest. With the importance that the industry places on training, for instance, I would have expected the number of requests for forms for that particular category to have been higher.

'But there is still plenty of time to enter. Entering for an award is far from onerous and the deadline is October 31'.

The ACR News awards are again backed by some of the biggest names in the acr industry. This year's sponsors include Hawco Refrigeration, FG Eurofred, LG, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Panasonic, Space Air and Vaillant.

'These awards were created to reward innovation, good customer service, dedication and real initiatives,' said Everitt. 'Over the years this ethos has been proven by the long list of past winners, some of them famous names, some less well-known, but all exhibiting that little bit of something special.
