Pentland Wholesale Limited, a leading importer and supplier of commercial refrigeration and catering equipment, has announced that it is offering free standard delivery to its customers based in Ireland.
Following its successful exhibition at the Hospitality Expo in February and the subsequent meetings with major distributors in Ireland, Pentland’s management team had a meeting to discuss feedback received with regard to its delivery surcharge.
Maxine Mason, commercial director, said: “Ireland is a strategic market with significant importance to our business. We constantly review the market situation and always take our customers’ feedback seriously.
“We understand that free standard delivery has become a norm in the Irish market and we are more than happy to follow the trend. The decision to abolish the delivery surcharge to Ireland reflects our commitment to excellent customer service. And this will enable us to better serve our growing customer base in Ireland.”
