Ingersoll-Rand has completed the acquisition of Frigoblock for €100m.
Frigoblock manufactures and designs transport refrigeration units for trucks and trailers in Europe, primarily sold in Northern Europe. Based in Essen, Germany, it employees around 150 people and has an annual revenue of around €41m.
Frigoblock is now part of Ingersoll Rand’s Transport Solutions business, which goes to market as Thermo King. The acquisition boosts Ingersoll Rand’s ability to deliver transport temperature control systems for a variety of mobile applications.
