Andrews Sykes boosts hire fleet as demand grows

Andrew Sykes Group chiller hire and boiler plant hire divisions have invested more than £250,000 to increase their UK hire fleet in response to growing demand.

The investment has been necessary to enable the company to respond quickly to the increasing number of planned and emergency calls it receives from industry, commerce and event organisations looking to temporarily bolster their cooling or heating requirements.

All of the money will be spent on extending the number of 15kW, 30kW and 60kW air handlers and fan coil units available across the chiller hire and boiler hire fleets.

This modern fleet offers near-silent operation and can supply large volumes of chilled or warm air. The versatile range of fan coil units can be supplied and installed by Andrews Sykes site engineers as a single air handler, connected in series/parallel for larger rooms or installed where ducted air is a requirement.

All air handers and fan coil units have been developed to an Andrews Sykes specification to meet the most demanding applications but are compact enough to pass through narrow halls and doorways. All air handlers and fan coils returning from hire undergo safety checks, are cleaned and serviced prior to being made available for hire from a network of more than 35 depots within the UK.
