3D and HRP launches ac installer scheme

3D and HRP has launched an accredited scheme for contractors installing air conditioning equipment made by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.
3D and HRP launches ac installer scheme
The new installer scheme called 3DVision will give installers access to product releases and training. Membership is open to any installer whose engineers have completed relevant MHI product training at the HRP training centre in Slough.

All installers working with 3D will get help with system design, specification, heat load calculations as well as advice on legal, regulatory and energy saving issues.

3DVision members are entitled to special rates on refrigerant handling courses and will be able to offer an extended five year warranty on qualifying installations of PAC and KX ranges.

3D managing director, Richard Ward said: 'There are no commercial requirements or minimum order values. This is a recognition of professional ability and commitment to training. Building owners working with 3DVision accredited installers can be reassured that every engineer has completed up to date product training and is fully conversant with all aspects of the system being installed'.

'This is another important step in developing the 3D and MHI offering to the UK market. Our joint investment in training and support is helping to equip the marketplace for the future', he added.

Ian Adams of Air Conditioning Economics became the first installer to join the 3D Vision scheme.

David Lettis, UK sales manager for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries said: '3DVision will help to build confidence throughout our customer base. It is another excellent outcome from the productive partnership that we have with 3D in the UK'
