2017 HRS Christmas golf day announced

The Hampshire Refrigeration Society's Christmas golf day is taking place on Tuesday 12 December at the prestigious Old Thorns Hotel, Golf and Country Estate in the heart of the Hampshire countryside.

The day will consists of a bacon bap, with tea or coffee on arrival, followed by 18 Holes of golf with buggy on the Championship Course. The day will culminate in a three course Xmas Fayre dinner with prize presentation and raffle. The spa, pool and gym facilities will all be available for use.

Set in 400 acres of picturesque countryside, Old Thorns has a long history of staging top class competitive events for television. The championship golf course was designed by ‘the voice of golf’ Peter Alliss and is said to be a true test of golf for all levels of golfer.

The cost is £48 per person, including two buggies per team, and will be a 4 ball Stableford. Individuals will be made up into teams of four on the day. Bookings will be on a first come first basis. Contact hrsevents@outlook.com for bookings or sponsorships.
