Talking about the event and the network, Karen Perry Chair of the IOR’s Women in RACHP Network said “the growth of the network has helped us to increase our contacts and promote the careers of women in the RACHP network. The more people we are able to talk to about the shortage of females and the need for greater diversity the more people recognise it and jump on board to help spread the word and create ideas to attract more women to the industry or support them within it.“
IOR president, Mike Creamer said, “we were delighted to welcome so many participants to celebrate the IOR WiRACHP and International Women’s Day.” He also added. “We have already decided to repeat the event next year.”
