The Datateam Media Group and Biz Media welcome Pinede Publishing

The Datateam Media Group and Biz Media has acquired Pinede Publishing. The acquisition will see Biz Media take over a number of market-leading titles for industry professionals including Energy in Buildings & Industry (EiBI), Plumbing, Heating & Air Movement News (PHAM News) magazine and all associated websites, including the influential websites eibi.co.uk and phamnews.co.uk

Energy in Buildings & Industry is the monthly magazine that the UK’s industry, commerce and public sector turn to for guidance on reducing their energy use. For over 35 years the publication has helped thousands of organisations save millions of pounds through the more efficient use of energy.

Every month it provides an unrivalled coverage of the latest news, opinions, product development, case studies and topical features, as well as detailed analysis of the policy and legislative changes that are shaping the market. EiBI also provides an opportunity for energy managers to obtain a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) accreditation from The Energy Institute, with a four-page training module in each issue that covers various subjects.

PHAM News is widely regarded as the leading technical publication serving the domestic and light commercial sectors of the industry. The magazine is published in an impressive and accessible tabloid format and delivers an unrivalled breadth of editorial coverage for plumbers, heating installers, specifiers and merchants, including all the latest news, product information, legislation updates and industry views on traditional and renewable systems.

The expanded energy portfolio gives the Datateam Media Group a huge UK and global reach with more users, readers, followers and attendees allowing all brands to expand their live, virtual and hybrid events and award schemes.

Chris Evans, managing director of Pinede Publishing said: “We are excited to build on Pinede’s experience of over 35 years in the HVAC, Plumbing and Energy sectors and I feel certain that both EiBI and PHAM News will continue to grow with the support of Datateam.”

Managing Director of the Datateam Media Group, Parvez Kayani, stated he was absolutely delighted with the acquisition and is very pleased to emerge from the recent pandemic with a strengthened team and a much expanded portfolio.  He extended a warm welcome to the Pinede team and expressed how much he was looking forward to building on the trusted brands, titles and events that form part of the Datateam Media Group.

Pinede Publishing will continue to be led by Chris Evans and he will be supported by the senior management teams at both Biz Media and the Datateam Media Group.
