Toshiba Air Conditioning, a division of Toshiba Carrier UK, has reported continuing strong growth in sales despite challenging UK market conditions.
Toshiba Air Conditioning achieved double digit increases in revenue over the past year, fuelled by new technology introductions and a series of commercial initiatives.
David Dunn, general manager, said: 'Since 2008, the market picture for the UK has been challenging, to say the least. However, we have been able to sustain sales growth over a number of years, which is obviously very pleasing.'
He added: 'We are not at all complacent, however, and the Toshiba team and our distributor network will be redoubling efforts over the coming year to maintain momentum and further build our market position.'
The VRF sector has been the company's star performer, with sales increasing strongly year-on-year - helped by the launch of Toshiba's SHRM-i three-pipe heat recovery system.
The company is now targeting growth in the splits and multi-splits sector to develop this revenue stream and help balance sales in the larger project sector.
