Mr Scully is Parliamentary Under Secretary of State (Minister for Small Business, Consumers and Labour Markets), whose responsibilities include small business and enterprise (including access to finance), consumer and competition (including competition law), and labour markets. He is also Minister of State for London.
“The government often says that small businesses are the lifeblood of the UK economy,” said BESA chief executive David Frise. “We are delighted that the Minister is also demonstrating his commitment to our sector, in particular, by agreeing to take part in the webinar and directly address the concerns of our members and other building services firms.”
Mr Frise urged BESA members and other business owners to send in questions so they can be put to the Minister. Questions can be submitted by email via COVID-19@thebesa.com.
