A conference run by the BRE Trust's online news portal Building4change.com is set to tackle the questions, challenges and practical options for improving energy efficiency across corporate property portfolios.
Taking place at the Royal Academy of Engineering, London, on 20 November 2013, 'Cutting the Corporate Energy Bill' will address the pivotal issues and how to resolve them - including retrofit challenges, cost-cutting measures and funding - within the context of the myriad building types and an evolving regulatory framework.
Speakers include Martin Smith, head of energy at Royal Mail, Steve Whyman, managing director of Broadgate Estates, and Matthew Ulterino of the Greater London Authority/C40 Cities for Climate Leadership. Jonathan Maxwell, chief executive of Sustainable Development Capital will speak about third party investment opportunities for corporate organisations.
The conference is supported by ISA, Broadgate Estates, Philips, Global Action Plan, NUS, SDCL and Royal Mail. For further information on the event or to see the full programme, visit
