Pastorfrigor GB sales of multidecks have increased by 40% year-on-year-on-year (YOYOY) and said it is largely due to the introduction of its energy label A Genova OV range of refrigeration. With demand in the grocery retail market for more energy efficient refrigeration growing, Pastorfrigor is expecting growth to continue during 2022.

“As we see the savvy retailers looking to meet the new energy standards quickly and focusing on keeping energy costs down and minimising waste, we expect demand for commercial refrigeration to rise. In addition the rapid growth of the retail sector represented by the rising number of supermarkets, convenience and forecourt stores is boosting the sales of commercial refrigeration equipment,” added Robinson.

To support the growth of the business, James Warburton joins Pastorfrigor GB as commercial manager. Warburton has over 20 years of experience in sales and project management within the commercial refrigeration industry and its supply chain. He worked with AB Group and Eight Installations since 2019 where he held the role of Head of Business Operations until he was promoted to Group Commercial Business Manager. Previously he was Key Account Manager with the Epta Group for seven years and Project Manager of Relays and Implementation at Tesco for four years.

“James brings a wealth of experience with him. He will focus on developing business with our existing customer base and actively targeting new revenue streams,” said Robinson.
