New sales director for Waterloo

Waterloo Air Products has promoted Andy Wardle to the position of sales director, with a seat on the company board.

Mr Wardle joined Waterloo in 2005 as area sales manager, having previously gained valuable sales and industry experience at both TROX and GDL. As his career within Waterloo developed, he progressed to regional sales manager for the North before taking on his most recent role as head of national sales.

As sales director, Mr Wardle will be tasked with developing Waterloo’s continued growth strategy while leading the national sales team.

Commenting on his new role, Mr Wardle said: “I’m delighted to join the Waterloo Board and look forward to using my wider commercial knowledge to drive market expansion with the support of our fantastic sales team.”

Waterloo’s managing director, Russell Shenton, said: “We would like to congratulate Andy as we welcome him to the Board of Waterloo. During his time with Waterloo, Andy has demonstrated an expert knowledge of our products and core technology backed by strong people and leadership skills.

“We are confident that Andy will be able to use his experience and insight to help us achieve the ambitious sales growth that we are targeting in our next phase of development.”
