The online preview will take place on 9 May at 10 am as part of a webchat hosted by the IOR for members interested in promoting careers in the RACHP sector in educational settings. The webchats, which are held online regularly provide a forum for members to share their experiences and ideas and to inspire others to make contact with schools and/or the STEM Ambassador programme.
IOR STEM Kit Bags include promotional items such as a stand and t-shirt as well as giveaways and experiments to demonstrate heat transfer and refrigeration science principles. They are all linked to the IOR school website www.fantasticfridges.com.
Talking about the launch of the STEM Kit Bags, which is an initiative supported by the IOR Presidents’ Fund, IOR CEO, Miriam Rodway said: “The promotion of our sector to young people is one of the IOR’s, and our sector’s, most important strategic priorities and we’re excited to introduce the new IOR STEM Kit Bags which will provide our members with the tools they need to engage with and inspire young people to recognise both the career opportunities and the value of the RACHP industry.”
