EHS brands bought by Electrovision
[firstParagraph]
THE assets of Manchester-based air conditioning firm, EHS (International) have been sold to the Electrovision group.
The agreement signed on August 26, sees Electrovision buy the firm's assets including intellectual property, stock, plant, machinery, fixtures and fittings.
All 30 staff employed at EHS were made redundant after the firm was put into administration on August 27. On a temporary basis some EHS staff are moving to Electrovision's St Helen's office.
The managing director of EHS, Paul Greenough now works for the Electrovision group.
Electrovision operates primarily from the UK distribution centre but has sales offices in France and Holland and a factory in China. Electrovision plans to sell EHS products to existing and new customers under the EHS brands 'Prem-I-Air' and 'Prem-I-Air Elite'.
EHS, which designs and supplies cooling equipment, imports equipment mainly from China. EHS was formed in 1987 to supply the HVAC trade primarily in the UK. In 1997, it acquired Aquamajor and supplied non-installed air conditioners, dehumidifiers and other air treatment products worldwide.
