Danfoss sells domestic compressor business

DANFOSS has sold its domestic compressors business to German industrial holdings group Aurelius AG.
The Danfoss Household Compressors manufactures hermetic compressors for refrigerators and freezers, light commercial applications and DC compressors for mobile applications. It generates annual revenues of roughly 400 million Euros and has 3,000 employees.
The acquisition, which is subject to approval by various competition authorities, comprises all Danfoss Household Compressors business activities in Germany, China, Slovenia and Slovakia. The Household Compressors business will remain as a supplier to the Danfoss Group.
