Daikin sponsors CIBSE Young Engineers Awards

Daikin UK is sponsoring this year’s CIBSE Young Engineers Awards as part of its newly launched Future Thinking campaign.

Now in its 18th year, the Awards counts as the highest accolade for budding engineers, recognising outstanding graduate engineers, their skills and innovative thinking, as well as forward-thinking employers who encourage and nurture young talent. The event is free to both members and non-members. The winners will be announced at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) in London on 9 October.

Managing director Dirk Slagmulder said: “We are proud to sponsor the CIBSE 2014 Young Engineers Awards as part of our Future Thinking campaign, which encapsulates Daikin UK’s sustained commitment to the development of next generation engineering skills and professional training. We are looking forward to seeing the rising stars of the industry be given the recognition that they deserve.”
