Coolair Equipment strengthens team with two senior appointments

Air-conditioning specialists Coolair Equipment has appointed David Mansell as sales/business development specialist at the Midlands office and Danny McLaughlin as sales/business development specialist at the firm’s southern office in Maidstone, Kent.

Mr Mansell will be responsible for the sales, design and procurement of air conditioning and any associated services in the region. Mr McLaughlin, who has 30 years’ experience within the HVAC industry, will be introducing Coolair Equipment's service portfolio to new and existing clients.

As with Mr McLaughlin, Mr Mansell has vast experience across the HVAC sector with previous roles including regional sales manager for Toshiba Business Solutions and director of operations and key accounts at Celsius Solutions.

Mr Mansell said: “I am really excited to be joinin Coolair Equipment. My path had previously crossed with Coolair Equipment during my time at Toshiba, and I have always admired the company’s professionalism. With the recent appointment of Deane Flint as commercial director, it feels like a very exciting time to join the company with their ambitious plans for growth.”

Mr McLaughlin was attracted to Coolair Equipment's forward-thinking attitude and family-orientated ethos, and has long-terms plans for his role. He said: “I have numerous personal goals, and for sure company goals. Both align perfectly as I want to be a key member of the team, to grow and nourish the business for many years to come.

“I want to develop a new product offering via Coolair, to continue to build strong client relationships and to grow our new and existing client base. For me it’s all about relationships with customers ensuring we service individual requirements to the best of our ability.”

John Otterson, Coolair Equipment's managing director, said: “David and Danny both bring with them considerable experience in the HVAC sector. Both have a long-term vision for their role and I am sure they will be an asset to the Coolair Equipment Limited team.”
