Climalife helps customers move to low GWP solutions

Climalife offer a comprehensive range of Lower GWP Refrigerants to help towards the phase-down required by the F-Gas Regulations. The range includes HFO, HFO Blends, CO2 and Ammonia all readily available from stock.

The product range includes a number of options to replace the high GWP refrigerants, R-404A and R-507, as well as low GWP replacement options for R-134a.

As a leading supplier of HFC refrigerants, Climalife are able to help their customers with the right low GWP solutions for their requirements.

These include the HFO single components R-1234yf and R-1234ze, both with very low GWP, which can be used in some applications on their own or blended with other refrigerants to match the properties required.

R-1234yf is supplied by Climalife to meet the growing demand from the automotive air conditioning market.

Solstice® ze (HFO 1234ze), can be used in chillers, CO2 cascades, high-temperature heat pumps or even refrigerators.

R-32 with a GWP of 675 is also readily available from Climalife and its use in small air conditioning systems is expected to grow significantly over the next few years.

R-513A(Opteon XP10) and R-450A(Solstice N13) are both non-flammable replacements for R-134a with half its GWP, with R-513A being a very close performance and capacity match.

We offer five alternatives for R-404A and R-507, all with much lower GWP, R-407A at 2107, R-407F(Performax LT) at 1985 and R-448A(Solstice N40) & R-449A(Opteon XP40) both with a GWP just below 1400. For transport refrigeration applications R-452A (Opteon XP44) is the refrigerant of choice to replace R-404A. All these can be used in new or existing equipment as a retrofit option and are approved by leading compressor manufacturers.

Ammonia is proving very popular where new equipment is being used for large industrial applications, quite often with our range of secondary heat transfer fluids. Whilst refrigeration grade CO2 is being used in supermarket and selected industrial applications.

With further new low GWP refrigerants likely to come to market later this year and next Climalife is well postioned to offer technical help and advice as to where each fluid can be best used.

In addition to the low GWP solutions we offer, our waste management and reclaim service for recovered HFC refrigerant means we can offer a full life cycle package for those wanting HFCs reprocessed and reused.

With years of experience Climalife are well placed to help its customers understand and comply with all the nuances of the F-Gas regulation as it evolves.
