Cliff Gills to head up industrial refrigeration sales at Bitzer UK

Bitzer UK has appointed Cliff Gills to the position of Industrial Refrigeration Business Line Manager, with responsibility for the company’s industrial refrigeration portfolio.

Among his responsibilities, Mr Gills will spearhead the roll-out of ?Bitzer UK's ammonia compressor pack (ACP), the factory-built system designed as a high efficiency, zero-GWP solution for industrial and large commercial applications.

Mr Gills has many years’ experience in senior management and national sales in the industrial cooling sector, including service with Integral, Johnson Controls and Star Refrigeration.

He said: “?Bitzer UK's new ACP is a superb piece of engineering. It gives end users a level of peace of mind – in terms of safety and reliability – simply not possible before with ammonia systems. With outstanding efficiency and zero GWP, it is a future-proof option that I believe will rapidly become a default solution for industrial projects, particularly in the food and drink and process industries.”
