CIBSE (Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers) has announced that its 19th Young Engineers Awards, sponsored by Ruskin Air Management and Daikin UK, are now open for entries with a closing date of 31 July.

The ceremony will take place at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) on 9 October 2014 where the CIBSE ASHRAE Graduate of the Year and CIBSE Employer of the Year Awards will be presented, with the Presidents of ASHRAE, CIBSE and the IMechE in attendance.

The Graduate Award is open to anyone graduating in a building services related discipline within the last two years. Meanwhile, the Employer Award recognises those companies who have done most to recruit, retain and encourage young engineers. It has three separate categories for small, medium and large employers, as well as an overall award.
