The Foodservice Industry BIM Information Day is a free event open to anyone working within the foodservice industry.
Organised by the Catering Equipment Suppliers Association (CESA) in collaboration with CEDA and the FCSI, the event will take place on 05 September 2018, from 10.30am to 3.00pm, within the training facilities of First Choice Group in Cannock.
Glenn Roberts, chair of CESA, said: “The day will be an objective, fact-based, knowledge exchange forum highlighting specific developments in BIM which affect the foodservice equipment industry.”
Topics covered on the day will include the latest developments in BIM parameters for foodservice equipment, along with issues that manufacturers face in addressing the needs of the design and installation channel. The event will also consider the requirements for designers and consultants to meet BIM protocols, and the latest software developments.
There will be reports on the use of BIM resource libraries – CESABIM and EFCEMBIM – by both manufacturers and designers, as well as the findings of a survey on issues affecting BIM implementation.
“This event is a must for any foodservice equipment professional working with BIM, or wanting to find out about the latest issues,” said Mr Roberts. “BIM has huge implications for our industry and it is developing fast. This event will bring people the very latest advances, issues and ideas.”
The event is free to attend but spaces are limited; those planning to attend should book as quickly as possible.
