The need to repeatedly measure values across the sensor with an electrical test meter can be difficult due to the location and obstructions. The testing process takes time and is repeated several times, from installation, pre-commissioning, to the final commissioning stage and again during an annual maintenance visit.
BAPI’s test and balance switch provides you with a factory wired sensor, additional terminal block for the controls cable and a separate test switch within the enclosure enabling any technician to test the resistance value from low to high temperature and back to normal with the flick of a switch.
