ITE FINDER 5 HEATED DIODE LEAK DETECTOR
The FINDER 5 uses highly sensitive heated diode dispersed electron emission technology providing unmatched performance and superb reliability to find even the smallest leaks.
The FINDER 5 unit is only sensitive to halon-based substances found in refrigerants and therefore is highly resistant to false alarms.
It is quick and simple to use and comes complete with a reference leak to ensure the unit is functioning to specification.
The sensor and airflow pump are located in the main body of the unit and the presence of leaks is indicated by both an audible and visual alarm.
The unit works with all CFC, HCFC and HFC refrigerants and has adjustable sensitivity - Down to as low as 2.8 grams/year (equivalent to 5 parts per million)
It is powered by rechargeable Ni-cad battery pack, which has a battery life of 3 to 4 hours depending on use and a fast charging time of 3 hours
Selectable between automatic or manual operation the FINDER 5 is fitted with 400 mm flexible probe and has a low battery warning light.
Certified to SAE J1627 standard it is supplied in strong plastic carrying case and an optional spare battery pack is available.
