High Efficiency Purification System

High Efficiency Purification System (or HEPS purifier for short) cleans air down to the last molecule across 3,000 square feet. Used by NASA to protect astronauts from illness, bacteria and toxic chemicals (VOCs), this technology can now be implemented in the home to create a clean, healthy indoor environment.

The HEPS Purifier module neutralises all three types of serious indoor air pollutants:

Airborne disease-causing microscopic particles
HEPS removes particles that can cause infectious diseases including influenza, common colds, tuberculosis, legionella and c.difficile.

Airborne primary sources of allergy
HEPS gets rid of allergens that can cause symptoms such as fatigue, headaches, coughing, sneezing, runny, itchy eyes, stuffy nose, wheezing and shortness of breath.

Airborne toxic volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
HEPS neutralises VOCs (carbon-based chemicals), which include carbon monoxide, fumes and odours from paint solvents, car exhausts, pesticides, cleaning fluids and alcohol. VOCs can cause short and long-term ill-health.

To achieve these results, the HEPS combines three powerful technologies:

High efficiency electrostatic particle filtration
Reduces microscopic allergens as small as 0.3microns. The average human hair is 80 microns in size and a bacterium is 1 micron.

Titanium photo-catalytic oxidation
Titanium photo-catalytic oxidation technology reduces VOC chemical fumes and odours by up to 90% or more.

Ultraviolet germicidal air disinfection
Kills airborne disease germs on contact and destroys viruses and VOCs too small to be caught by HEPA filters.

The powerful HEPS air purifier also has the pleasant effect of banishing cooking or unpleasant smells.

Adding a HEPS Purifier is great for your health, but it can also benefit the running of the system, too. It eliminates mould and dirt build-up on the evaporator cooling coils and heat exchanger surfaces, increases energy efficiency and reduces the need for cleaning.
