Refrigerant Leak Detection for Hotels and Luxury Apartments from CPC (UK)

To provide compliance with EN378:2008 many VRV/VRF systems require refrigerant leak detection equipment to be fitted. CPC (UK) have been supplying leak detection equipment for commercial and industrial refrigeration applications since 1992 and now include a range of products for the commercial air conditioning market.

The RD-em provides a discreet and stylish product ideally suited to identification of refrigerant leaks in hotel rooms, offices and residential properties. The RD-em sits inside a flush mount electrical back box with a range of standard and custom finished cover plates to complement the electrical switches and sockets fitted in the room. Each microprocessor controlled RD-em is provided fully configured ready to monitor the environment for refrigerant leaks before health and safety limits are exceeded.

Details of the legislation, standards and recommendations regarding refrigerant leak detection in air-conditioning applications and the solutions we can offer are outlined in our technical bulletin entitled ‘Does your air-conditioning system require refrigerant leak detection?
