Now in its eighth year, the HVR Awards will once again celebrate the outstanding technology, innovation and exceptional customer service in the HVAC sector over the past 12 months during a prestigious ceremony, held at the five star Chelsea Harbour Hotel on Thursday 26 October 2017.

The HVR Awards, organised by Datateam Business Media, recognises and rewards companies that have demonstrated excellence in their field and true innovation in the way they operate or in what they produce.

The entry process is well underway, with a significant number of organisations having already entered in to the running for an award, which can truly differentiate a company from its competitors, enhance its reputation and motivate its team.

Several categories at the HVR Awards will be judged by an independent panel of industry experts, including Commercial/Industrial Ventilation Product of the Year, Commercial/Industrial Heating Product of the Year, Commercial/Industrial Air Conditioning Product of the Year, Lifetime Achievement and Sustainable Product of the Year.

Also due to be judged by the independent panel of industry experts is the Sustainable Project of the Year award, which is open to all the M & E Contractors and consultant engineers who have delivered outstanding and innovative methods of sustainability. This award is devoted to the most pioneering business ideas promoting sustainability within a project launched between 1 January 2016 and 30 June 2017.

New for the 2017 HVR Awards is the Wholesaler/Distributor of the Year award, which is open to all heating and ventilating wholesalers or distributors operating in the UK and is set to be hotly contested. The winner of this award will be decided by the vote of the industry, along with Customer Service Person of the Year and Trainee of the Year.

The application process is easier than ever, with entrants invited to submit examples of achievement and excellence online at www.hvrawards.com before the deadline of Friday 28 July 2017. A panel of independent industry experts will then review the entries to decide who to bestow a respected HVR Award upon during the high profile ceremony in October.

A dedicated audience

The HVR Awards is pleased to announce the backing of several sponsors for this year’s awards, including BESA, Brymec, Marflow, Stokvis Energy Systems and Toshiba Air Conditioning.

Brymec is a leading independent supplier to the UK’s building services sector, and will be sponsoring the ‘Trainee of the Year’ category at this year’s awards. Dale Gardiner, commercial director at Brymec, explains the importance of the awards to the future of the industry: “Brymec is delighted to sponsor the HVR Trainee of the Year Award. In an industry that may not be seen as the most exciting career option to many young people it is vital that we encourage, harness and support our trainees and apprentices.”

“At Brymec we firmly believe in supporting future generations that pursue careers in the HVAC industry, and we actively recruit train and retain young talent giving them the support and guidance they need throughout their career with us. We therefore strongly believe this award is a natural fit with our business.”

Gardiner continues: “This award acknowledges the best trainee each year and it must be therefore supported to ensure that the industry’s future leaders have the support network they need to develop and grow.”

A range of sponsorship opportunities are still available. The HVR Awards provides the perfect platform to increase your brand’s reach and offers exposure to a dedicated audience of potential new clients.
