Leading companies voice their support for the ACR Show

Registration is now open for the UK’s only dedicated exhibition for the refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, heating and heat pump sectors, which takes place at the NEC, Birmingham from 16-18 February 2016.

Chemours, a world leader in titanium technologies, fluoroproducts, and chemical solutions is sponsoring the Refrigeration & Cooling Theatre. Commenting on its decision to support the event for the first time, business development manager Mark Hughes said the company viewed it as an important event one year into the F-Gas phase down: “It is an opportunity for us to help the ACR industry understand the challenges it is facing and how our range of Opteon low GWP refrigerants can help in the transition.”

A number of companies are exhibiting at the event for the first time too. Clariant, a leader in specialty chemicals will introduce its latest innovation, the Protectogen C aqua corrosion inhibitor, alongside its range of Antifrogen heat transfer fluids. Laurence Baldwin, ICS sales manager for the UK & IRE said: “We are using the event to raise our profile as a manufacturer of top quality Heat Transfer Fluids to the UK.”

HygroMatik is also exhibiting at The ACR Show for the first time. Andie Chessun, national sales manager for the UK & RoI said: “As the only national exhibition dedicated to the HVAC industry, it is the ideal place for us to showcase our products and expertise to a wide variety of visitors from different sectors. The ACR Show will also provide HygroMatik with the perfect networking opportunity, where we can engage with our existing customers and meet potential new customers.”  HygroMatik is to showcase its steam humidifiers and an adiabatic high pressure system with a duct.

Andy will present a CPD accredited seminar on behalf of HygroMatik in the Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Theatre on the second day of the show, in which he will ask ‘Why humidify?’ Andy will discuss the various application areas of humidification and the different types of humidification systems available.

Interactive Components acts as an agent and distributor for a number of European manufacturers, offering a comprehensive range of damper actuators, ball and mixing valves, custom made multizone manifolds, pressure relief and temperature and pressure relief safety valves, capillary thermostats together with adjustable and 0.5in snap action bi-metal thermostats to the HVAC&R industries. Commenting on the decision to exhibit at the show for the first time, the company’s Dave Thompson said: “It now includes the heating, ventilation and heat pumps sectors; thus offering a more comprehensive offer of products and components to potential visitors, including most of the industrial sectors Interactive is currently supplying, or looking to supply products into. We will be showing all of the existing products available from our suppliers for use in the HVAC&R industries and will also be launching some new products.”

Panimpex is a long standing supporter of The ACR Show. The company offers a large range of tools for the HVAC-R industry. It also produces and distributes the Blondelle class 1 'A Lame Acier' gauges. Sales & marketing manager, Bernard Peirs said: “Panimpex has been exhibiting at the ACR show for over a decade. This is a great show, THE show in the UK for our industry!”

Panimpex will be showing its Blondelle gauges and manifolds for CO2 applications together with its energy efficiency solutions, including the Metreco, a digital wireless system analyser described as a smart mobile measuring device that provides real time COP measurement for cooling and heating applications.

Green Zone, a building compliance company providing all air and water legal requirements to commercial building owners, facilities management and air conditioning companies enjoyed huge success at the 2014 event and is delighted to be back. Director Ian Campbell said: “The ACR Shows allows end users to view the latest technology and have the opportunity to discuss with specialists all the latest developments.”  

SWEP, a leading supplier of compact brazed plate heat exchangers, is also returning. Dave Gill, HUB manager for northern Europe said: “SWEP will present Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers (BPHE’s) that meet today's environmental requirements with unprecedented efficiency in heating, air conditioning and refrigeration applications.”
