WM Building Services works with Smith Brothers Stores to deliver major processing and distribution warehouse.
The Winvic Construction site based in Lyons Park which covers 4.7 hectares follows on from the previous successful scheme with online retailer Amazon at Bardon, Leicestershire. Helping to deliver the project is Leicester based company WM Building Services which is responsible for the design and installation of the mechanical services and have chosen Smith Brothers Stores as its preferred supplier for the project providing materials such as; steel tube, weld fittings, Crane valves, Pegler Yorkshire Xpress, Polypipe Terrain soil and wa
ste, Lochinvar water heaters and Lawton copper tubes.
Having serviced the HVAC market for over 100 years it can deliver the ‘Considerate Construction Scheme’ within the rules set within the accreditation. With local depots at Leicester, Birmingham and Northampton they are able to service the site effortlessly drawing from substantial stock levels. WM Building Services are members of BESA, building a reputation of quality along with being associated with NICEIC, MCS along with GasSafe, Watersafe and RECC accreditations.
At Lyons Park it is also planned that there will be high-tech industrial and office pre-let opportunities along with the car manufacturer (Jaguar Landrover) factory and distribution warehouse. From the site it will generate thousands of local jobs, with 1,600 jobs alone at the distribution centre.
