The Greystones Marina Village which features Panasonic’s Aquarea Heat Pumps has won the ACR News Environmental Project of the Year award.

Comedian and host Miles Jupp with the Panasonic team at the ACR News Awards.

This multi-award-winning project is a shining example of an eco-friendly, efficient and sustainable new housing development. In awarding this prize, the judges recognised the sustainability and high efficiency of the Panasonic Aquarea Air to Water H Generation Heat Pumps that were installed in the 358 dwellings on the development.

Tony Nielsen, pre-sales manager of Panasonic said: “Greystones Marina Village is now multi award winning and for good reason. We are proud of the long term environmental benefits as well as the efficiency that the Panasonic Aquarea Heat Pumps provide to residents. I’m thrilled that ACR News, as well as others, continues to recognise the growing success and green credentials of the Panasonic Aquarea Heat Pump range.”

With a diverse network of products and research and development facilities across the globe, Panasonic is determined to remain as a world leader in delivering innovative, cutting edge technologies that are setting the standard for the HVAC industry, and aims to be the number one green innovation company within the industry.

Mr Nielsen added: “Winning the ACR News Environmental Project of the Year award confirms the importance of producing green, reliable and efficient products to satisfy customer needs.”

Shane Duffy, national commercial heating manager for Heat Merchants said: “This project showcases excellence in overall heating. We worked very closely with our clients Bridgedale and Delap & Waller consultants, to provide the best heating solution. The Aquarea Heat Pumps are low in maintenance and environmentally friendly.”

The Marina Village in Dublin features 358 architecturally designed A-rated homes in a stunning seaside location. All houses and apartments were fitted with Panasonic Aquarea Heat Pumps and continue to work efficiently and in an eco-friendly manner. Greystones is operating within its final stage with more homes benefiting from the Aquarea H Generation and the sustainable, environmental and economic savings that the range brings to the end user.

A resident on the Greystones development, Stephen Kavannah, commented: “We have found at least a 50 percent decrease in our overall fuel bills since moving into the Greystones property and found the system to be efficient, reliable and eco-friendly. We would highly recommend the Panasonic Aquarea air source heat pump.”

Panasonic's Aquarea Heat Pumps are a prime example of how new housing developments can offer a fantastic green, efficient and cost saving solution.
