MD Mark Houghton has spent 28 years in and around the industry and is supported in this new venture by Lynne Ford as sales director, Bridgette Fernandez as business development manager, IT manager Edward Callaghan and finance manager Laura Taylor, who collectively clock up over 100-years’ experience in the industry between them.
Pure Air Distribution Ltd, based in Guildford, has been established as the first UK distributor for the newly relaunched air conditioning brand Haier.

Mark Houghton said: “The Haier range offers quality products from residential air conditioners, through multi-splits and MRV, to chillers, all of which will be available to the UK market”.
In 2016 Haier AC won the Progress Awards of National Science and Technology, the highest award in the Chinese technology innovation field. Also, in February this year, David Cleveland, research director of Euromonitor, the London-based global market research company officially signed and released the global connected air conditioner (including smart air conditioner) data report, showing that Haier is the number one brand of connected air conditioners (including smart air conditioners) in the world, with a market share of 23.6% in terms of volume sales in 2016.
Mr Houghton added: “We have complete faith in the product and want to create a strong partnership with our customers to ensure excellent customer service and complete satisfaction across the board. This will include offering a design service and site visits when the equipment is installed. To confirm our faith in the product, a six-year warranty will also be offered.”
