Vaillant takes responsibility for warranty repairs
VAILLANT, a newcomer to the UK air conditioning market, has introduced a two-year warranty scheme in which it will accept the responsibility for repairs rather than the installer.

Vaillant's climaVAIR units are covered by a new two-year warranty
The German manufacturer says that it is aware that very few air conditioning installers have a national coverage of service personnel, resulting in far-flung breakdowns becoming very expensive to resolve. Under the warranty scheme, Vaillant will send out an engineer in response to any equipment failures, but breakdowns due to installation faults, non-Vaillant supplied parts and faults due to external influences, such as power outages, are not included.
Mark Richards, Vaillant's product manager for air conditioning, explains: "Vaillant is renowned for its first class after-sales service, which has helped it to become Europe's number one boiler manufacturer, and is keen to bring these customer focused services to the air conditioning market."
