Chillventa's registration numbers hot up
CHILLVENTA 2008 has more than 80% of its display area booked by 420 organizations.
Event organisers of next October's European refrigeration and air conditioning exhibition in Germany, managed to secure this amount of bookings by January 18, nine months before the event.
Big names including Danfoss and Daikin will exhibit at Chillventa 2008, the trade fair for refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation and heat pumps which takes place in Nuremburg on October 15-17.
The companies listed in the exhibitors directory include UK, the US, China, Spain and Turkey. Organisers say the total number of registered exhibitors is fast approaching 500.
"We are very satisfied with the development of Chillventa. The number and names of the companies registered speak for themselves", said Gabriele Hannwacker, exhibition director of Chillventa Nürnberg 2008.
Forums and symposiums include the International Heat Pump Symposium organized by DKV. On October 16, there will be something for planners to get their teeth into with a "New Air Conditioning in a Day" event. ASHRAE will offer short courses from the ASHRAE Learning Institute.
Chillventa 2008 is also supporting the newly formed BFS/EsaK Foundation. On December 13, 2007, ten companies and five private individuals founded the new "BFS/EsaK Foundation for the Promotion of Education and Science in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology". With funds of €250,000 it will support the Federal College of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology (BFS) and the European Academy of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (ESaK) by sponsoring chairs, lecturers and laboratory equipment. It will also award scholarships and grants to official and non-profit institutions.
The constantly updated list of exhibitors is available at www.chillventa.de/exhibitors.
