NewsFG Eurofred names top team
FG EUROFRED, the new joint venture company formed on October 1, by Eurofred UK and Fujitsu General to market Fujitsu air conditioning in the UK, has announced its senior team.

Headed by chief executive officer Kazuo Sakakura, the firm's management team appointments include Lajos Darvas as senior vice president for business planning and marketing, Ignacio Saez-Torres as vice president for direct sales, Tony Nielsen as product and marketing manager and Tim Kaye as sales manager for distribution.
Leading UK air conditioning supplier Fujitsu General teamed up with Eurofred UK, its largest European Fujitsu distributor to form the new firm. Based at the Fujitsu General office at Elstree, Hertfordshire, FG Eurofred took over the responsibility of supplying Fujitsu air conditioning equipment in the UK and Ireland from FGUK. Fujitsu UK's vice president Martin Richards has since left the company.
"We would also like to take the opportunity to wish Martin Richards well for the future. He has been closely associated with Fujitsu air conditioning for many years and he will be missed by colleagues and distributors alike," said newly appointed CEO Kazuo Sakakura.
"Fujitsu air conditioning products have an excellent reputation for performance and reliability throughout the industry.
"Our task is to translate that reputation into strong sales growth; both through our valued network of distributors and by direct sales," he added.
Tim Kaye has been part of the Fujitsu team for four years and manages the firm's nationwide distribution network.
"Fujitsu in the UK built up a strong working relationship with all our distributors, and part of my job will be to maintain and even improve on that," said Tim Kaye.
"Although the new company will have a direct sales operation, our network of distributors is just as important to us as it ever was to Fujitsu General," he said.
